Feels like loosing yourself into the Divine Shelter of God. Southern India is dotted with places of religious interest. There are several towns that are referred to as the temple towns owing to the grandeur of the temples they are home to. Like Rameshwaram (one of the most famous temples of South India) is an island temple - of Lord Rama's at Tamil Nadu is a terrific destination. Along with being a major pilgrimage for the Hindus, Rameshwaram is a happening holiday spot too.​
Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Chennai Airport. You will be assisted by our representative. Check in to the hotel and relax. Begin your day with St. Mary's Church, which is one of the historic monuments in Chennai. Transfer to Marina Beach one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Evening will be free at leisure.

Post breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to your next destination. Arrive in Chennai. Check in top the hotel and relax. Afternoon visit to some of famous Churches of Pondicherry. Evening visit to Plage Paradiso (Paradise Beach) is located at Chunnambar which is 8 kilometers away from the main town. This part of tropical paradise is a dream destination for every beach lover. Evening will be free at leisure.

An international city is a small town 6 km north of Pondicherry. This town was a vision of The Mother from Sri Aurobindo Ashram at Pondicherry as it's an international town. Then Serenity Beach Pondicherry is a 1.5 km long, rocky shoreline. Some of the bloodiest Anglo-French battles were fought on these sands. Today, however, this beach is ideal for a calm (or romantic) stroll. Later visit Botanical Gardens Pondicherry well known for its various tourist hotspots, which attracts tourists all the year round to this destination.

Visit to the most important pilgrim centre located at an island just 7 km from Trichy. Srirangam, surrounded by the waters of river Kaveri on one side and its tributary kollidan on the other, is a 600 acre island-town enclosed within the seven walls of the gigantic Sri Ranganathaswami Temple. Later visit the rock fort temple In the Rock Fort Temple – three temples Manikka Vinayakar Temple, Uchhi Pillayar Koil and Thayumanavar Koil. Evening will be free at leisure.

Full day excursion to Kodaikanal, one of finest hill stations in Tamil Nadu. It is situated 7,200 feet above sea level amongst the picturesque Western Ghats of India. Kodaikanal is located in the Pazhani Hill Range and is under the administrative control of Dindigul district of Tamilnadu. Evening will be free at leisure. Return to Madurai.

Excursion to Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, a beautiful temple in southern India which was created for worshipping lord Rama as Hindu mythology. Later drive to Agnitheertham, a pilgrim place where in people believes that taking bath in the place washes away their sins.

Visit to famous Vevakananda Rock Memorial where you can see the beauty of the nature. You can see the ocean in three different colours, Blue, Green and Black as The Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and The Arabian Sea gets merged into each other. Return to Kovalm in the evening.
