Short Description
The barren beauty of Ladakh with snow capped peaks and clean azure sky have attracted the intrepid traveller since the region was opened to tourists in the 1970s. Since then, Ladakh has become a favourite haunt for trekking and mountaineering enthusiasts. The rugged terrain and the majestic mountains around, make an exotic cocktail for an adventure sport lover. But before you decide to fly away to the land of Buddhist monasteries and brave people, it is imperative to understand that you need at least a week to enjoy your tour to Ladakh.
Detailed Itinerary
Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. Upon arrival you will be assisted by our representative and transfer to Hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax. Full day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. Evening visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market.
Overnight at Hotel.
Post breakfast get driven downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. Enroute visiting Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity, confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River, Likir Monastery, Uletokpo or Tingmosgang enroute visiting Ridzong Monastery. Check in to your camp / hotel and relax. Evening will be free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Post breakfast transfer to the 11th Century Lamayuru Monastery enroute visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes, Alchi Gompa, Basgo. Evening will be free at leisure.

In the morning leave for Tsomoriri Lake enroute visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & 3 Idiots Rancho School & further 5 Km Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. After visiting above two monasteries we drive further towards Chumathang, enroute visit Sumdah village and drive to Tsomoriri Lake. The Tsomoriri Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. Check in to the cmap and relax.
Overnight stay.
Early morning visit Korzok village with its houses and its Gompa appearing like a mirage. Check out from our hotel / Camp and drive to Tsokar. The nomadic people Changpas are most outstanding feature of this area. Check in to the camp. overnight stay.
After a leisurly breakfast we checkout from our camp and drive to Leh enroute visiting Hemis Monastery, The largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Post breakfast get driven to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtr / 18,390 Ft. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Indus Valley and ridges of the Zanskar Range. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrival in Nubra Valley. Check in to your Camp / Hotel. Evening walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged.

Have an early breakfast. Check out from your Camp and drive to ride on a Bacterian Camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. En route return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Enjoy shopping in local Bazaar of Diskit. Drive back to Leh. Evening will be free at leisure.

Post breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport to catch the flight for your onward journey.
